Members Impressions of Encore!
"I joined the orchestra a term ago now and I find it great fun. I play the violin. When I first joined, I didn't know anyone, but now I've made loads of new friends! I'd really recommend it!"
"Hi! My name is Michaela and I love playing the violin. I have been playing the violin for about 3 years and I have probably been with Encore for one year. I enjoy Encore because I get to hear how the small pieces everybody gets turns into the song it is meant to be!"
"I like coming to Encore each week because I have made lots of new friends. Most weeks we split into groups which is great because you get to know people a lot better. I am sure that my violin playing must be improving as a result of Encore. I am about to play in my first concert which is quite exciting. I have told my friends at school about Encore and they want to join as soon as they are able."
"Hi I'm Cecilie I am 9 years old and play the violin. I have played in the orchestra for 1 year and I enjoy it because it's nice to play in it with other people. I also like to listen to other instruments and enjoy the music that we play. You can also look forward to the drinks and biscuits in the break. The conductor and teachers are also funny and nice and they like to talk and laugh."
"Hi my name is Katherine. I started Encore in September and did not know anyone there. As soon as I picked up my violin and started playing I knew I would make some friends. I like Encore because it is fun and you meet new people. Also the conductors are really funny."
