What Is Encore?
Encore Schools Orchestra is an independent youth orchestra founded 25 years ago. It rehearses weekly during term time in Bookham, Surrey and provides a happy and supportive environment for young musicians to enjoy the fun and discipline of playing in an orchestra.
Members are between 8 and 16 years old, and individual playing standards vary from grade 1 to grade 6. Our musicians are drawn from a large number of state and independent schools in the surrounding area. See About Us for more information on how to join.
Encore meets at Manor House School, Bookham.

We hope soon to be able to work in some chamber music for higher grade players. Spread the word to ex-members who might be interested in coming back!
Spring Concert 30th January 2008
Our spring concert was held at Manor House School, Bookham on Wednesday 30th January. The Orchestra performed works a range of classical and popular works.
Summer Concert 25th June 2008
Our summer concert was held at Manor House School, Bookham on Wednesday 25th June. A wide range of music was performed by the Orchestra as well as some excellent solo performances.
